[Job Description]
- Designs (CAD) and creates concepts and production parts towards customer and internal specification considering program goals in the area of cost, quality and time lines (from initial acquisition to formal program to launch)
- Ensures DFA and DFM (esp. injection molding ( process) are integrated in product design (in conjunction with manufacturing engineering support). This includes the use of existing best-in-class concepts and components
- Creates designs in NX UG & CATIA 5 towards the required customer CAD standards
This includes developing proper designs in regards of DFM (esp. tooling) and DFA. Senior Engineer ensures that product development is carried out in conjunction with company`s& customer`s APQP elements.
-Creates component, assembly and trade drawings for internal and external use using GD&T, SC
- Clarifies customer specification, requirements, issues and outcome with customer and internal team
- Develop product specification together with customer and internal team (esp.program managers) if efficient spec is not available
- Organises and leads project meetings (technical aspects) to ensure program requirements are met, initiate team tasks (ie. preparation of cost estimates, testing, quality tasks…) in regards to program needs
- Supports manufacturing engineering on technical issues (product specification, i.e. material selection, etc.), tooling requirements and vendor support
- Ensures strong relationship to customer engineering departments to be part of the overall customer program team
- Visits appropriate customer engineers to check the project status in regards of the program requirements (application/product specification, cost - if applicable, quality, time lines)
[Qualification]
- Engineering degree is required
- + 5 years experience in design & project engineering experience
- Automotive industry experience is required
- Program& Project management experience is preferred
- Business sufficiency in English (영어가 좀 부족하다면 일정 기간 통역등으로 보조 가능)
- Proactive, Self-starter
- Strong communication skill
- Willing to move
