 About NSF fund

It's like a rumor. Don't believe it. Those kinds of information tend to
swell out in Korea, for example, VISA stuffs, termination of NSF funding
for internationals, too high GRE scores, and so on about studying abroad.

Definitely, it never happens.
Over 50% of grad students in science and engineering fields are
international students. So if they quit funds for internationals,
they cannot conduct research any more.

I'm an engineering grad student in USA, so I know the situation well.
Don't worry about funding.
But it's true the number of international applicants are increasing.
(In case of my department, the number increased up to more than 50%.)
