It's really depend on your major and specialty. There's always postdoc opening.

  First try hard to write good papers and attend the conference.

  In conference, you can contact with company managers, lab

  directors and professors. Ask then to give you a business card and give yours to them. Just make sure that they can remember you.

  Then you can contact them via email for possible openings. Just remember that there's always an postdoc opening ofr qualified  people. I think the biggest purpose of attending international conference is that you can build your own human network in your field.
